About us
Tremayne the Chameleon is a full service seasonal Food Truck based out of Washington, DC. It was the vision of then 15 year old "Tre" who's mom believed in his vision and worked to bring it to life.
Unlike other trucks, as the name hints, Tremayne the Chameleon has the unique ability to convert its menu into varied specialties based on demand, client requests and of course - the seasons. Along with solid standard base items, our flexible specialty menu serves hot cider in the fall, soups and sandwiches in the winter and ice cream sundaes in the summer. Our kitchen can be used to produce extraordinary street cuisine or an awesome sugar rush from our variety of unconventional artisan drinks, sweets and treats. We've participated in many cool events such as providing late night bits to the Anacostia Arts Center, old time Car Shows at Rosecroft Raceway to a Spooky Halloween Trail at the Congressional Cemetery and many more. You can catch us early mornings making on the go breakfast sandwiches or grilled pizza's late night.
Our best efforts to date is what we do every month or with the excess foods from larger (or bust) events - we feed those that can’t afford to feed themselves. Giving back is something that the Tremayne the Chameleon will never change on and the root of why we do what we do.
